Daniel Otzoy-Garcia has more than 15 years of experience working in Latin America and the Caribbean on digital health projects funded by PAHO/WHO, the Inter-American Development Bank, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Global Fund for TB, AIDS and Malaria, and USAID, implementing digital technologies in public health and health care sectors and promoting the adoption of strategies like telemedicine, mHealth, and public health information systems. He is the co-founder and executive director of the Central American Health Informatics Network and chair of the Executive Council of the Center of Studies for the Equity and Governance of Health Services.
