Birch Lamphere

In her 37 years with JSI, Barbara has designed strategies and techniques to promote health manager and provider competence, established in-person, blended, and distance learning programs, and developed initiatives to support and motivate health workers on the job. Barbara has worked extensively in health supply chain management, reproductive health, nutrition, and community case management in the U.S., Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. From 1988 to 2016, she managed and contributed to capacity-building activities of the USAID DELIVER | PROJECT and its predecessor projects, and served from 2010 to 2014 as institutional development advisor on the SC4CCM project. Barbara has a BA in biology from Colgate University and a MPH in international health from Johns Hopkins University.
