Ashraf Islam has guided the development of a number of integrated logistics management information systems implemented in various JSI country projects. These applications help in automating supply chain systems, procurement planning, forecasting, transportation management, survey/data collection systems, end-to-end visibility, interoperability with other systems, electronic medical records, and DHIS2. Ashraf has more than 20 years of experience working with ERP systems, business analytics, and data visualizations, and application design based on Oracle, Microsoft SQL server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases. Ashraf understands the importance of developing technology solutions that are appropriate for low-resource settings. He has an M.Com in accounting from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and an MBA in finance from the Institute of Business Administration, Bangladesh.
