Antonia Powell

As co-director of the Center for HIV and Infectious Disease, Antonia Powell provides technical leadership across JSI's international programs. She joined JSI in September 2019, bringing 17 years experience implementing large-scale public health programs in Asia, Africa, and Latin America in the technical sectors of HIV, malaria, tuberculosis, reproductive health, and child survival interventions. Antonia is a senior manager with extensive experience mentoring team members to implement high-quality relief and development programs. She has offered expertise in private sector engagement, including working with social franchises and private provider programs in Asia and Africa. Antonia brings high-level representational and grants management experience with major international donors and private funders. She has an MSc from the Harvard School of Public Health.
