Andrea Royo joined JSI in 2019 and works with community-based organizations, advocacy groups, and city and state health departments on projects including the Arizona Para Prevenir vaccination campaign, N2N Casino Impact research, and OPGS listening sessions. Andrea was a grant manager for the MA Gun Violence Prevention Program and co-authored literature on the efficacy of a violence-prevention program in Hampton, Virginia. Andrea also co-led research on community approaches to reduce recovery silos. Andrea is bilingual (Spanish/English), has a dual degree in psychology and entrepreneurship from Suffolk University, and is pursuing a JD.
