JSI congratulates Dr. Abdourahman Diallo, who has been appointed CEO of the RBM Partnership to End Malaria, a global platform initially launched by WHO, UNICEF, UNDP, and the World Bank to provide a coordinated global response to the disease.

Dr. Diallo worked at JSI from 2002-2015 as a senior advisor on global supply chain programs.

From 2016-2018, Dr. Diallo served as Minister of Health of Guinea and dealt with the rebuilding of the national health system after the Ebola crisis. There he led initiatives to provide Guineans with universal access to high-quality health care and build the capacity of the health system to prevent and manage any future outbreaks.

Diallo is an MD and has a master’s in public health from Johns Hopkins University.

“Abdou is a terrific choice to lead the Roll Back Malaria Partnership,” commented Joel Lamstein, president and CEO of JSI. He is a man of great technical skills, a commitment to public health, and a man of great integrity. Abdou will be an extraordinary leader for RBM.”
