The CDC grant supports the APCP to conduct program evaluation activities, including developing a comprehensive, five-year evaluation plan, as well as development and implementation of evaluation plans for specific program initiatives. MDPH contracted JSI to assist in conducting these evaluation activities, which aligned closely with the Program's goals. JSI collaborated closely with APCP and stakeholders as a team throughout the evaluation process to ensure an utilization-focused evaluation following the framework outlined in the CDC Learning and Growing through Evaluation: State Asthma Program Evaluation Guide.
