JSI developed a series of six webinars on payment reform for use by Michigan health center boards of directors (BODs) and staff. The webinar package includes a discussion guide and compendium of resources (related articles and blogs). Each of the webinars in the series are brief (9 -13 minutes) so that the webinar and the discussion on the material can be included in a regularly scheduled Board of Directors meeting.

The first three webinars in the series describe what payment reform is, why it is receiving so much attention, and how it is relevant for health centers. The 4th and 5th webinars build on this background and discuss Michigan opportunities and the readiness of Michigan health centers as whole to engage in payment reform. The 6th and final webinar 6 explores how board member roles and responsibilities relate to payment reform initiatives. These materials are intended to be used by health center executives and BOD chairs to stimulate further discussion and research into the topics covered in the series.
