JSI is partnering with the Olson Group, Ltd over a four year period to design and implement a series of Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation Program (HSEEP)-compliant tabletops (TTX), functional, and full-scale exercises (FSEs) to strengthen New Hampshire's readiness to respond to public health emergencies such as naturally occurring disease outbreaks and terrorist attacks using chemical or biological agents. These exercises are designed to evaluate state capability to execute of a variety of public health emergency preparedness and response plans including State Strategic National Stockpile, State Receipt Stage, and Store, Mass Casualty, Chemical Package (CHEMPACK), and Mass Care and Sheltering Plans. JSI is designing exercise materials and evaluation frameworks, facilitating and controlling exercises, evaluating exercises, and developing After-Action Reports.

In Task 1 of this multi-task project, JSI is assisting with the design and evaluation of two tabletop exercises (TTX) and one full-scale exercise (FSE) to evaluate the effectiveness of state and hospital plans to respond to a nerve agent attack requiring activation of state and hospital CHEMPACK plans.
