Home-based counseling and referral enables a mother to know her status and continue living
This success story features Alem Tesfaye, a mother from Ethiopia who began to feel ill but was too scared to get tested for HIV. When the SEUHP project came to her town and suggested she get tested, she found out that she was HIV positive. With SEUHP's help, she was able to receive the care she needed to remain healthy.
