JSI Presentations from the 19th ICASA Conference

Building on its three decades of work addressing HIV and AIDS, JSI presented at the 19th International Conference on AIDS and STIs in Africa from December 4–9. The theme of the conference was Africa: Ending AIDS - Delivering Differently. It highlighted the UNAIDS' 90-90-90 targets with the understanding that human rights are a key part of working toward an AIDS-free Africa.

Innovations in HIV Programming for Key Populations in Ghana
This satellite symposium explored behavioral, biomedical, and structural innovations, including the use of technology and social media to improve the reach, testing, linkage to care, and treatment for key populations (KPs) along the HIV care continuum. Expert panelists shared their promising innovations and approaches to improve KP programs.
