JSI is pleased to support the bipartisan resolution supporting the goals of World AIDS Day and continued efforts to fund prevention, care, and treatment services, and research programs for HIV-affected communities and people living with HIV in the United States and globally.

JSI has been working toward an AIDS-free world since 1986. As an initial recipient and implementer of USAID and PEPFAR programs, we work every day to protect and expand the gains made under PEPFAR as well as to expand access to critical COVID resources.

Leading up to World AIDS Day, we call on Congress to provide $4 billion over two years to support The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria‘s COVID-19 Response Mechanism and protect global progress on HIV. Learn more about the Bipartisan Resolution Recognizing World AIDS Day.

Since COVID-19 profoundly changed the world, JSI has moved quickly to serve communities in need. Through 20 projects in 15 countries and through two global projects, we support disease surveillance, supply chain procurement, and other life-saving COVID activities. We urge Congress to continue funding important infectious disease programs.
