In today's unstable economic conditions and the confusion surrounding health care reform, many community-based clinics are experiencing a decline in their donor base. Without these financial contributions, clinics face the difficult challenge of providing the same level of health care with fewer funds. JSI was hired to conduct qualitative research of community donation patterns and perceptions of Serve-Empower-Transform (SET) Family Medical Clinics to assist SET in developing a marketing plan. JSI conducted focus groups for SET to inform its efforts to increase and diversify its donor base.
