JSI was contracted by the Wyoming Department of Health Prevention Health and Safety Division's Communicable Disease Section to conduct a comprehensive statewide HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention needs assessment for the state.

JSI's work resulted in a report to the Wyoming Department of Health that included a summary version of all information gathered through both secondary and primary data analysis, as well as recommendations on priority populations and interventions to use with them in HIV prevention and treatment. The report has helped inform future programming, strategic planning, and resource allocation decisions for HIV treatment and prevention services for the state of Wyoming.
