The National HIV Prevention Program Monitoring and Evaluation (NHM&E) Service Center is the primary point of contact for NHM&E-related technical assistance for all Center for Disease Control (CDC)-funded HIV prevention grantees, including health departments and community-based organizations.

In partnership with CACI International, Inc., JSI provides NHM&E technical assistance and facilitates monitoring and evaluation guidance in collaboration with CDC subject matter experts to help grantees:

  • Follow current NHM&E guidance, deadlines, and processes
  • Understand the NHM&E Data Variable Set requirements
  • Submit data securely, per CDC standards
  • Implement data security and confidentiality guidelines
  • Improve local NHM&E data quality assurance activities
  • Collect, report, analyze, and interpret NHM&E data
  • Integrate monitoring and evaluation into HIV prevention plan implementation
  • Use NHM&E data and lessons learned to improve HIV programs
