The New Hampshire Environmental Public Health Tracking (EPHT) Program's mission is to develop a secure network for the collection, access, analysis, and dissemination of environmental public health data and information; to guide policy, practice, and other actions toward improving the health of New Hampshire residents; and to foster collaboration among the state's environmental and public health partners.

When NH EPHT was preparing to launch an updated data portal, the program contracted with JSI/NH to conduct an assessment of the program's current communication plan, to assess the needs of the current target audience, and to assist in the development of a user-feedback process for all of the program's products. JSI/NH worked with NH EPHT's partners and stakeholders to develop a comprehensive assessment plan, conduct comprehensive research on other states' program communication plans, and lead NH EPHT through a process to refine and finalize their communication plan with the goal of implementing specific strategies that attracted more users and created a more stream-lined, effective user experience.
