The International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE) is a membership organization of more than 1,300 environmental epidemiologists and other scientists in government, academia, and private institutions. Providing a worldwide forum for communication, collaboration, and sharing of research, ISEE encourages and supports epidemiological studies on the human health effects of environmental exposures; innovative approaches to problems and applications of environmental epidemiology; and the use of environmental epidemiology to inform public policy. The ISEE supports the involvement of scientists from developing countries and students through targeted programs and reduced dues rates.

To assist this all-volunteer organization in carrying out its mission, JSI has provided secretariat services to ISEE since 1998. Services include communication and coordination with and for elected officers and councilors and other ISEE leaders; liaison with the sponsoring organizations for each annual conference; print and electronic communications with the membership; collection and accounting of dues and other income and expenses; maintenance of the membership database; and design and maintenance of ISEE's web site.
