Since 1978, JSI has provided consulting, research, training, and educational services for agencies and organizations seeking to improve the health of individuals and communities throughout the United States and the developing world. Critical Initiatives

JSI works to address public health priorities, whether they are emerging health issues, such as avian influenza and emergency preparedness, or long-standing issues that are gaining increasing visibility and importance. JSI has worked in some key technical areas for many years—in the case of tuberculosis (TB), we have worked to strengthen TB programs in the United States since the 1980s.

JSI critical initiatives include tuberculosis, malaria, and avian influenza.
