JSI Awarded AIDSTAR Task Order 1 Program

JSI has been awarded a significant contract from the US Agency for International Development (USAID) under the AIDS Support and Technical Resources Program Initiative. Named the PROGRESS-HIV Program, the new initiative will support USAID's efforts to expand access to and utilization of good and promising HIV program practices, strengthen technical leadership, and scale-up program implementation and sustainability.

Improving the Operations of the District Health Centers, City of Philadelphia

The Philadelphia Department of Public Health is working with JSI to improve the Philadelphia Health Care Centers current operations and to develop a strategic plan. Adolescent Family Life

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has contracted with JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. to provide technical assistance and training to Adolescent Family Life grantees under the Office of Adolescent Pregnancy Programs (OAPP/AFL). JSI responsibilities include the identification of relevant training needs for AFL project providers and staff, and logistical support for on-site workshops as well as net conferences.

New Hampshire Youth Vision Assessment

JSI was contracted by the Workforce Community Council, Inc. to conduct a needs assessment and gap analysis of youth between the ages of 16 and 25 served by the Manchester district office. Working under the direction of the NH Youth Vision Team, JSI is gathering quantitative and qualitative data from key participants and stakeholders in services for out-of-home care youth.

Developing an HIV Services Consumer Satisfaction Survey

The Boston Public Health Commission has awarded JSI a contract to develop and administer a "satisfaction survey" of people living with HIV (PLWH) who are consumers of Ryan White Part A-funded services. The survey will assess satisfaction with the quality and accessibility of services, as well as the role of these services in PLWH's health care and quality of life.

Nepal Family Health Program II

JSI has worked in Nepal since 1981 to assist the government in developing a functional health care system.
