Internships at JSI

JSI has internship opportunities for students and recent graduates who would like to learn about public health work in both international and domestic settings. Internships take a wide variety of forms and allow students to gain insight into public health programs. JSI strives to work closely with each intern to ensure that they have a fulfilling experience and contribute to the organization's daily work in a meaningful way.

Internships can focus on JSI's domestic or international work, and can be located in our U.S. or international offices. Our Accounting Department also offers internships to undergraduate students to give them hands-on experience in all areas of accounting: A/R, A/P and G/L in both for profit and not for profit environments.

Recent internships have ranged from developing proposals and looking for new business development in Bangladesh and summarizing findings from baseline surveys in three different regions in Ethiopia, to assisting participants in the Try-to-Stop Tobacco project and analyzing responses to a health insurance survey in Rhode Island.
