Deputy Chief of Party: Government Support

Should JSI be the successful bidder, this will be a full-time position based in Mozambique. The Deputy Chief of Party: Government Support will report to the Chief of Party.
- Responsible for routine, day to day communications with USAID, MISAU, and other donors and key stakeholders
Work closely with the Government of Mozambique to strengthen the essential public health services necessary for HIV epidemic control
Ensure institutionalization of priority interventions
Ensure sub-grants with government entities run smoothly
- Supervise the ECHO specialist advisors based in Maputo
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in public health, nursing, or related field. A degree in Medicine or a Doctoral Degree in a related field is preferable
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the health sector and a track record of coordinating programs of a similar scale and budget
Minimum of 6 years of experience in a PEPFAR funded program
Minimum of 6 years of experience in an HIV related clinical service delivery
Demonstrated ability to perform at a senior advisor level
- Strong oral and written communication skills in Portuguese and English is required
Salary commensurate with experience.
